ASH Teaching Cases

Teaching Cases are an interactive learning resource for medical students and hematology instructors designed to simulate the steps involved in diagnosing patients.

ASH Teaching Cases Development

The Teaching Cases Working Group (under the auspices of the Medical Education Subcommittee of the Committee on Training) supervises the development and revision of Teaching Cases and their presentation in an interactive online format.

The efforts of the Teaching Cases Working Group focus on developing multimedia enhancements to the cases, recommending continuous improvements to their design, and exploring better integration of the cases with other ASH digital learning tools such as the ASH Image Bank. The working group is responsible for the development of new cases as needed and for the ongoing maintenance of existing cases through review and/or revision of their content and online presentation.
