Scholar Award
ASH Scholar Award LOI are no longer being accepted as the 2025 cycle is now closed.
Please see the “Eligibility Requirements” for important changes to the Scholar Award. Eligibility has expanded. The award now offers three funding opportunities for hematology researchers: the Fellow Scholar Award, the new Fellow to Faculty Scholar Award, and the Junior Faculty Scholar Award.
For many researchers, the period between completion of training and the establishment of an independent career can be a perilous and uncertain time. Since 1985, the ASH Scholar Award has helped ease this difficult transition by providing partial salary or other support during that critical period required for completion of training and achievement of status as an independent investigator.
