Minority Graduate Student Abstract Achievement Award
"Receiving the MGSAAA and being able to present my work and network with scientists and physicians in the field at poster sessions and the MRI luncheon has confirmed my passion for hematology and introduced me to the supportive community at ASH."
Oluwamayokun Oshinowo, 2018 MGSAAA Recipient
The Minority Graduate Student Abstract Achievement Award (MGSAAA) is part of the ASH Minority Recruitment Initiative. The goal of the MGSAAA is to attract and/or retain minority PhD students to the field of hematology through the ASH annual meeting. At the meeting, students have the opportunity to hear the latest advances in hematology-related research, and interact with ASH leadership, senior researchers, and minority physicians, scientists, and students.
