ASH Submits Comments on Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and Hospital Outpatient Proposed Rules

October 10, 2006 — ASH submitted comments on the proposed Medicare rules for the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and the Physician Fee Schedule. Changes proposed in these rules are in addition to those proposed earlier this summer for practice expense methodology and the 5-year review of physician work values. The final rules are expected on or about November 1, 2006.
