Novel Combinations for Lymphoma: Maximizing the Impact of Targeted Therapies

This program is sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and supported by Allos Therapeutics and Millenium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Location: Peabody Orlando Hotel, Orlando Ballroom

Anton Hagenbeek, MD, PhD, Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Christopher R. Flowers, MD, Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA

This symposium will focus on understanding the pathobiology of lymphoma, which has yielded an array of new targets for drug therapies. These targets must be addressed simultaneously, as the malignant phenotype of lymphoma results from interacting epigenetic, genetic, and protein-level abnormalities. Speakers will discuss the key pathways of lymphoma cell growth, differentiation, signaling apoptosis, and resistance to chemotherapy. Emerging strategies that target these interrelated pathways using novel combinations of targeted therapies will be discussed.
