ASH is committed to educating its members on how to become effective advocates for hematology research and practice. The ASH Advocacy Leadership Institute was created in 2011 as part of the ASH Recruitment and Retention Initiative to provide additional opportunities for ASH members to learn more about advocacy, health policy, the legislative process and to become engaged in the Society’s activities.
The next ASH Advocacy Leadership Institute will take place in Washington,
DC, in the October of 2013. A call for 2013 nominations will be opened no later
than June 15, 2013. Please check this website for updates.
